Designed by Bob Surfboard for Mediterranean wind waves, this board paddles well, goes where you tell it to, and will make all your friends on short boards wish they could keep up.
The thin tail makes the board responsive and agile. The beak nose provides extra buoyancy needed to get into smaller waves without sacrificing maneuverability.
The round pin, continuous taper, and forward midpoint make this shape perfect for generating speed and maintaining control. The twin-or-single setup allows you to have two boards in one—twin for fun, single “for fear”.

I am Roberto, born in 1993 in Maremma, Tuscany, Italy. I first surfed at 11. Since then, surfing has become my greatest passion and it drove me to shape surfboards on my own, allowing me to surf whenever I wanted.
In 2014, I started shaping surfboards, and I currently make my living building my shapes by hand in my lab. I’ve surfed with twin fins since I was a kid, and they’re the boards I love to shape the most. They are easy and fun. Twins offer the purest emotion—that of just getting off the wave, with no thoughts. Pure joy.
Are you wondering how surfing is in my place in Italy? There’s an old saying that says it all: "As long as there is foam, then there is hope," our guru D.P. once said. It perfectly narrates our romantic vision of surfing here in Maremma, Tuscany, our innocent and tribal land.
In this land kissed by the Mediterranean Sea—seemingly far from quality surfing—I have surfed my whole life in the best unexpected waves. It was by our tiny sea that I had the lucky chance to meet Preston on a hot day in September 2021. Since then, we started dreaming of making surfboards together. Now it is real, and BOB Surfboards by Starlite’s carbon fiber boards are here, already giving the best fun out in California.
